Contract Deadlines

Yes, we have contract deadlines. The entire Purchase Agreement is based on someone's promise to do something at a given point.


Side Note; Make sure to ask your Realtor or Escrow Officer for a Copy of the Contract Deadlines!


So, let’s get into it, Deadlines to Keep an Eye out for:

  1. Deposit of your Earnest Money Deposit

  2. Inspections - Such as HVAC, Pool, Etc

  3. Property Investigations - Any Investigations you would like done to be at ease.

  4. Review of Disclosures - Transfer Disclosure, Seller's Property Questionnaire, etc.

  5. Point of Sale Inspections - Such as Presale City Reports, necessity varies by city.

  6. Appraisal Deadline

  7. Loan Deadline - otherwise known as Loan Contingency, very important.

  8. Insurance Eligibility - Some Insurance Companies are restricting eligibility, be wary.

  9. Preliminary Title Report - CCR's: Covenant, Conditions and Restrictions

  10. Seller Replacement of Property - Not required, but always good to ask!


These Deadlines all flow along via CALENDAR Days, not BUSINESS Days. So you do lose time on the weekends!
