The Value of Keeping Your Word

Trust is an Essential Part of the Transaction Process.
The value of keeping your word… it may sound simple, but it means everything in Real Estate.
After 40 years in this business, I can tell you—deals don’t fall apart because of big things. Most of the time, they fall apart because someone didn’t follow through. They didn’t return a call. A missed a deadline. Or someone didn’t do what they said they were going to do.
In a real estate transaction, there are a lot of moving parts—buyers, sellers, agents, lenders. And when one piece doesn’t hold up, it can affect the entire deal.
That’s why I’ve always believed in one thing: If I say I’m going to do something, I do it.
Whether it’s calling a client back, showing up on time, or handling an issue behind the scenes—those small actions build trust, and trust keeps deals together.
At the end of the day, this business is still about people. And people want to work with someone they can rely on.
Keeping your word isn’t complicated—but it makes all the difference. If you’re thinking about buying or selling and want someone you can count on, I’m always here to help.
